On 12 April 2016, the second LEAD Distinguished Speaker Event began at 7:00 p.m. in the Marvin Center Amphitheater.  CCAS Dean Ben Vinson welcomed the audience; Dr. Clay Warren (USNA '68), Director of the LEAD Program, made the introductions; and, ADM (ret.) Michael Mullen (USNA '68) gave a well-received talk on "Leadership in the 21st Century: Responsibility Requires Accountability.”  ADM Mullen’s distinguished career includes his serving as the 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest rank in the U.S. Armed Forces, from October 2007 through September 2011.  Following the event, ADM Mullen mingled with guests at a wine and cheese reception.
