Charles Bolden shared his experience as an astronaut and NASA administrator.

At the third annual LEAD Distinguished Speaker Series event, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Charles Bolden (USNA ’68) presented an insightful leadership talk to 120 attendees. The former astronaut has completed four space shuttle missions. Bolden recently retired from his role as NASA administrator, the highest rank at the agency. During his presentation, “NASA as an Instrument of Soft Power,” Bolden showed a short film about space and shared a variety of leadership examples. He mingled with attendees and posed for photos at a reception following the event.
