Former Sen. James Webb Jr. of Virginia spoke about his career as a Marine, a writer and a public servant.

2018 LEAD speaker James Webb Jr. (USNA ‘68), former senator of Virginia, delivered a dynamic talk entitled “Leadership Lessons: From a Marine Rifle Platoon through a Career as a Writer to the United States Senate.” In addition to his career in the Senate, Webb served as a secretary of the Navy and is a noted author, journalist and filmmaker. Following the event, Webb talked with attendees at a wine and cheese reception.
