Congratulations to Industrial/Organizational Psychology Ph.D. student, Abbey Salvas, on the strong presentation of their research at GW's first annual Three Minute Thesis competition!

Developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition celebrates research being conducted by students. The competition cultivates students' academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Since 2011, the popularity of the competition has increased and 3MT competitions are now held in over 600 universities across more than 65 countries worldwide. Students from across GW's doctoral degree granting schools/programs participated in this year's competition.

The challenging goal of the competition is to summarize and present pages of student research in just three minutes. Abbey successfully presented their dissertation research titled "Where can I be me? The role of psychological safety and social support in authentic identity expression for TNB employees" in this short amount of time. We applaud Abbey for their outstanding presentation and commend their commitment to advancing the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
