Dr. Ritzenhein brings considerable experience as a teacher and leader in the communication field to his role as adjunct professor of communication here at GW. He has taught a full range of communication courses over the years at several colleges and universities and given dozens of professional and public presentations on communication, teaching, fundraising, and leadership. He is currently leading a project to replace expensive textbooks for our basic course with high quality and free resources for students.

“My greatest joy is seeing students leave my classes knowing more, doing more, and believing more in their own abilities and futures. The study of communication is a great path for students to follow to achieve those goals, and my job is to encourage, guide and support them as they travel along that path.” -Dr. Ritzenhein
