Herman Aguinis is the Avram Tucker Distinguished Scholar and Professor of Management at the GW of Business and also holds an appointment in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in the Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication. Prior to joining GW, he was the John F. Mee Chair of Management and Founding Director of the Institute for Global Organizational Effectiveness at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He has been a visiting scholar at universities in China, Malaysia, Singapore, Argentina, France, Spain, Puerto Rico, Australia, and South Africa. His research is interdisciplinary and addresses human capital acquisition, development, deployment, and research methods and analysis. Recent projects address corporate social responsibility, domestic and international diversity, staffing, training and development, performance management, and innovative research design, measurement, and analysis strategies, among others.

Professor Aguinis has written three books: Performance Management (3rd edition, 2013, Prentice Hall), Applied Psychology in Human Resource Management (7th edition, 2011, Prentice Hall, with W.F. Cascio), and Regression Analysis for Categorical Moderators (2004, Guilford) and has written more than 130 refereed journal articles. Dr. Aguinis has consulted with organizations in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, and his research has been featured by numerous media in the U.S. and abroad.Herman
